The Georgia Dome is in its final days.

The 25-year-old stadium is fenced off and ready for demolition, a rather sad sight next to glitzy new Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Once a technological marvel, the Georgia Dome fell out of favor when Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank began pushing for a new facility.

The $1.5 billion Mercedes-Benz Stadium hosted two major college football games over the Labor Day weekend. No. 1 Alabama beat No. 3 Florida State 24-7 on Saturday, and No. 25 Tennessee faced Georgia Tech on Monday.

The final game at the Georgia Dome was the Falcons; victory in the NFC championship game back in January. It is set to be imploded on Nov. 20.
