Florida's Greenard to "face my fears" in return to Orlando

Greenard collected 15 ½ tackles for loss and seven sacks for Louisville in 2017 before breaking his wrist in the 2018 season opener and sitting out the rest of the year. Greenard headed to Florida as a graduate transfer and should step right into a pass-rushing role for a defense that must replace New York Jets third-round draft pick Jachai Polite. FILE - In this Nov. 17, 2016, file photo, Houston quarterback Greg Ward Jr., left, scrambles past Louisville linebacker Jonathan Greenard (58) during the second half of an NCAA college football game in Houston. Greenard’s 2018 season ended after nine plays, cut short on Louisville’s opening defensive series when he dislocated his right wrist and tore several ligaments in a 51-14 loss to Alabama. Greenard opted to leave Louisville after coach Bobby Petrino was fired in November, scrambled to complete his degree and ended up at Florida as a graduate transfer. Now, he’s expected to start for the eighth-ranked Gators when they usher in the college football season against rival Miami on Saturday night. (AP Photo/Eric Christian Smith, File)
